I joined Ballard in 1997 and I am now Director, Product Line Management. With my background as an Automotive Mechanical Engineer, it’s no surprise I’ve worked with vehicles throughout my career – and I’ve raced cars on the track too! Innovation to me is to try something no one has ever done before, and my passion for the technology keeps me here. We’ve had multinational guests in the facility, and it’s a great honor to see to our products’ impact worldwide.

My favorite musical pieces are from the Baroque era. I speak 5 languages; Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German and English. My advice on being multilingual is to not be overly concerned about making mistakes. Try to communicate, don’t be embarrassed!
